Centre Launches Training Modules on Managing Chemical Emergencies
Chemical emergencies pose a significant threat to public health, environmental safety, and societal stability, requiring strengthened national preparedness and response mechanisms.
In the current fast-growing industrial economy, it is crucial to update and prepare for such emergencies. To enhance preparedness, the Secretary of Health and Family Welfare, along with senior officials and experts, released modules on Public Health Management of Chemical Emergencies in New Delhi.
The modules were launched at Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi, and involved key stakeholders from various line ministries, national agencies, the private sector, industry, and academia.
