Holberg Road Closure Due to Mudslide
A mudslide has closed Holberg Road outside of Holberg, with multiple slides reported.
“The slide occurred on Northeast 60 Road at approximately the 14k mark,” said Dane Cameron, the Regional District of Mount Waddington’s emergency program coordinator.
According to Dane Cameron, Western Forests Products is assessing the situation to develop an action plan for debris removal.
- 47 customers are affected by the slide and are without power.

- Dombi Hill Road
- Sawmill
- Cookhouse
- Croft Street
- Seymour Avenue
- Radar Site Holberg
- Moores Lot 72
- William Moores Res
- 0 block of Bunkhouse Way
- Power outage started at 5:52 p.m. on Oct.
