Motorist Dies in Truck Accident in Gerona, Tarlac
A driver died and his one-year-old daughter is in critical condition after their vehicle was hit by a truck in Gerona, Tarlac, on Friday morning.
“The truck suddenly swerved a bit to the left side, and the car was approaching there, Sir, so that's where the collision happened. He allegedly lost control of the vehicle,”
said Gerona Police acting chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Edilberto Santiago, citing a mechanical problem as the cause of the truck driver losing control.
The driver of the crashed vehicle was dead on arrival at the hospital, while his child is confined in the intensive care unit and his wife is safe.
