Cardiff City U17 Defeated by Cheltenham Town
Cardiff City's final group game of the PDL Cup ended in a 3-4 defeat to Cheltenham Town.
The match took a turn for the worse early on when Tom Prickett was sent off, and the visitors took the lead just a minute later.
Despite this, City equalised through T-Jay Parfitt and took the lead twice through Ellis Yorke and Jack Sykes, but were pegged back on both occasions.
The visitors took the lead for the second time with 15 minutes left, which proved to be the decisive goal.
"We're really looking forward to this game against Cheltenham. After a win over the weekend we've had to turn our attention quickly to this game, and that's something we want to stress to the boys with this quick turnaround. We want them to look after themselves, we want them to recover well, because these games are coming quick and fast."
