Luka Doncic: "The goal is to win the championship"
The Los Angeles Lakers and Luka Doncic are set to start the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season against the Golden State Warriors.
"I think we have been practicing great. All the preseason is behind us, so we are excited to get started,"
said the 26-year-old Slovenian combo guard after team practice on Monday. He added,
"The goal is to win the championship,"
and explained that the team will take it one game at a time, trying to win every game. Their first challenge is against the Golden State Warriors in crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, without LeBron James.
"Steph versus LeBron, everybody in the world would watch it. Obviously, going against Steph is very exciting. I don’t know if it’s a rivalry, but for sure it’s an exciting game,"
