Wolves are still searching for their first Premier League victory of the season, having come close in their last two outings. They are unbeaten in their last three matches, with a 3-1 loss to Leeds United being their last defeat.
Recently, they had a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup against Everton and two 1-1 draws against Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion, conceding late in both matches.
Sunderland, on the other hand, have made a strong start to the season, currently sitting ninth in the table with three wins and two draws from their opening seven fixtures.
