Theme Park Injuries in Florida
A dozen people were taken to the hospital from Florida's theme parks during the third quarter of the year, according to a new state report.
Some visitors experienced neck pain, headaches, dizziness, and chest pain while on coasters, while others fell getting off rides.
Kevin Rodriguez Zavala died after riding a roller coaster at Epic Universe, with his family's lawyer, Ben Crump, stating he died from multiple blunt force trauma to the head.
The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services released the report, which listed injuries from Universal, Disney, and other theme parks, where guests were hurt or sick on a ride and required at least 24 hours in the hospital.
