During the government shutdown, visitors and workers have reported instances of unpermitted activities in Yosemite National Park.
A recent visitor, Sean Jennings from Santa Rosa, expressed shock at the large number of people in the park, stating:
“There were people everywhere,”despite visiting on a weekday.
Jennings had planned a trip to the park with his daughter, Sugar, and had reserved a night's stay at Porcupine Flats campground near Tioga Pass.
