A recent survey by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) reveals that 75.1% of doctors are concerned about the impact of climate change on their patients' health.

Meanwhile, only 16% of responding doctors feel that their workplace is prepared for extreme weather events such as heatwaves or flooding.

The Climate Change Committee has also warned the government that the UK must prepare for unprecedented extreme weather events due to at least 2C of global warming by 2050.
