KTVT Unveils AR/VR Studio For North Texas Newscasts
CBS News & Stations property, branded as "CBS News Texas", introduced its first local newscast using virtual reality and augmented reality technology.
The debut took place on October 14 at 11am, with anchor Karen Borta and meteorologist Brittany Rainey utilizing the technology for updates and weather forecasts.
The technology has already been tested in other markets, including San Francisco.
