UK Seafood Processors Face New Export Requirements
UK-based businesses processing fish caught and landed in the UK must submit new information to enable smooth seafood exports.
On 10 January 2026, new EU import requirements will come into force, requiring all involved in the UK's seafood supply to the EU to meet additional data requirements.
The Fish, Trace, Ship campaign, led by the Marine Management Organisation (MMO), clarifies the actions needed by each sector of the supply chain to be ready for these changes.
