10-Minute EV Charging Comes To America Next Year
ChargePoint is bringing 600-kilowatt EV chargers to market next year, but currently, there are no EVs in the U.S. that can utilize this level of power.
The Chinese market is ahead in the electric-vehicle race, with several cars that can charge at 1 megawatt, allowing for recharging in about five minutes, comparable to filling up a gas car.
Europe follows closely behind China, boasting numerous EVs and an extensive network of chargers.
That's being billed as a game-changer in China because it puts EV charging on par with the time it takes to fill up a gas car.
