Jack Grealish Unable to Play for Everton Against Man City
Jack Grealish cannot play for Everton against Manchester City due to Premier League rules prohibiting loanees from playing against their parent clubs.
Grealish joined Man City in 2021 for £100million and became a key player under Pep Guardiola, helping the team win the treble in 2023. However, he became a bit-part player in recent years and was linked with a move away in the summer.
Football Insider revealed that Grealish was "excited" about a potential move to Everton to play under David Moyes.
Grealish was loaned to Everton to reignite his career and has started the season well, scoring one goal and providing four assists in seven Premier League games.
He will have to watch from the stands as Everton takes on Man City this weekend.
