A £1.5m funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) has been awarded to a project digitising a survey commissioned by Henry VIII, providing a "3D snapshot" of Tudor England.
The three-year project, led by the University of Exeter, aims to make the Valor Ecclesiasticus publicly accessible for the first time, in collaboration with the Universities of Nottingham and Reading, The National Archives, the National Trust, and community groups.
