OpenAI to Allow Mature Content on ChatGPT
OpenAI will permit mature content for verified adult users on ChatGPT starting in December, according to CEO Sam Altman.
As we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our ‘treat adult users like adults’ principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
Altman noted that ChatGPT was previously made restrictive to address mental health concerns, but this made it less useful for many users without mental health issues.
