The Museum of Farnham requires an extra £600,000 to repair its crumbling roof, in addition to the £1.72 million already allocated for the project.
According to experts, the roof timbers have decayed severely, causing the structure to lose its structural function, and must be rebuilt this winter to avoid collapse.
