The new Proton Saga MC3 debuted in Malaysia after extensive spyshots, leaks, and teasers. It simplifies the lineup into Standard, Executive, and Premium models. Official prices start at RM38,990 for Standard, RM44,990 for Executive, and RM49,990 for Premium.
With rebate, effective prices drop to RM37,990 (Standard A/T), RM43,990 (Executive A/T), and RM48,990 (Premium CVT). These are on-the-road without insurance, including five-year/150,000 km warranty and free labor for first three services. All variants equip a 1.5L four-cylinder engine making 120 PS.
Previous Saga began at RM34,800 (M/T), up to RM44,800 (Premium S A/T), but ditched manual and Lite versions. Versus Perodua Bezza: RM36,580 (1.0 G), RM43,980 (1.3 X), RM49,980 (1.3 AV)—Saga offers superior 1.5L standard. Buyers gain up to RM12,000 extra features.
