North Lincolnshire will pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of its armed forces during Remembrance Sunday with a parade and memorial service in Scunthorpe on Sunday, 9 November.
The remembrance service begins at 10:45 AM with an Act of Remembrance, followed by a two-minute silence at 11:00 AM and wreath laying.
Afterward, the parade will return to The Baths Hall via Vicarage Gardens, where refreshments and a time for reflection will be offered to attendees.
Cllr Carol Ross, Mayor of North Lincolnshire, said: “It is a privilege to lead our community in remembering and honouring the immense contribution of our armed forces – those who serve today and those who have served.”
This event fosters community solidarity and honours the bravery and dedication of all who have served in the armed forces.
