Jetstar to link Sunshine Coast with Bali and Singapore

Jetstar to Connect Sunshine Coast with Bali and Singapore

Starting March 2026, Jetstar will operate flights from the Sunshine Coast to Denpasar three times weekly using its A321neo LR aircraft, offering over 70,000 additional seats annually. These flights will also continue onward to Singapore.

New International Route Launch

Jetstar is set to launch a new service linking the Sunshine Coast to Singapore via Bali. Stephanie Tully, Jetstar's chief executive, stated:

“We’re proud to be the first airline to connect the Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore. It’s a great win for travellers wanting an easy international getaway.”

She added that direct flights to Bali allow travellers to skip long road trips to Brisbane and gain extra time to enjoy the island's unique appeal. Jetstar remains the largest carrier in South-East Queensland and is expanding to meet strong demand for low fares.

Significance for Sunshine Coast

The new route marks Jetstar’s tenth direct service between Australia and Bali, and the fourth originating from Queensland—the Gold Coast to Denpasar service having started earlier this year.

Chris Mills, chief executive of Sunshine Coast Airport, described the launch as a “game changer” for the region:

“For the first time, locals can fly direct to Bali for an island holiday. Our research shows that this is a highly sought after destination for locals. But it gets even better: after a short stop in Bali the flight continues on to Singapore – a global hub.”

Route Overview

Summary: Jetstar’s new Sunshine Coast–Bali–Singapore route starting in 2026 will enhance direct international travel options for locals, reflecting strong regional demand and expanding connectivity.
