Jetstar (JQ) will start direct flights between Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) and Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) beginning 25 March 2026. The airline offers fares from $199 and onward connections to Singapore (SIN) via Denpasar.
This new route eliminates the need to travel to Brisbane (BNE) for international flights, providing Sunshine Coast travelers with direct access to Bali's beaches and cultural sites.
The Sunshine Coast–Bali service is Jetstar’s first direct connection between these cities and its tenth route from Australia to Bali, strengthening its position as the largest carrier in South-East Queensland.
Jetstar CEO Stephanie Tully called the launch a milestone, emphasizing “an easy international getaway” and noting it fits Jetstar’s strategy to expand its network to meet growing demand for affordable travel.
Summary: Jetstar’s new Sunshine Coast to Bali flights offer a convenient, affordable option with three weekly services starting in March 2026, expanding direct international travel options for regional Australians.
