Jetstar will introduce Airbus A321LR flights connecting Sunshine Coast to Bali with a stop in Singapore, enhancing low-cost travel options between Queensland and Indonesia.
The airline will begin direct flights from Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) to Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS), with connections through Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), starting March 25, 2026. This marks the first international route of this kind from the regional Queensland airport.
Jetstar plans to operate three weekly flights using its Airbus A321LR aircraft, offering around 70,000 seats annually. The flight duration is approximately six hours.
This route is Jetstar’s first direct link between Sunshine Coast and Bali and its tenth direct Australian route to Bali. It follows the launch of Gold Coast-Bali flights earlier this year and becomes the fourth Bali service from Queensland.
The schedule is arranged to connect smoothly with existing Jetstar flights between Bali and Singapore, enabling same-day travel from Sunshine Coast to Singapore with a Bali stopover.
Additionally, the new route opens a gateway for travelers from Singapore and Southeast Asia to visit the Sunshine Coast region.
Jetstar launched a 48-hour promotional sale offering one-way fares from Sunshine Coast to Bali starting at AUD 199 (USD 130).
Fares can be booked on the airline’s website during the sale period.
