OTTAWA – (November 6, 2025) The annual Sens Skills competition featuring the Ottawa Senators is returning to the Canadian Tire Centre on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 1 p.m. The event is presented by CAA North & East Ontario (CAA NEO).
This high-energy event divides Senators players into two teams competing head-to-head across several skill-based challenges, such as:
Adding to the excitement, four “Junior Draft” players will join their hockey idols on the ice, along with athletes from the PWHL’s Ottawa Charge. Doors will open at 12 p.m. for attendees.
The event supports the work of the Senators Community Foundation and draws over 10,000 hockey fans and families each year.
“For every boy or girl in the stand, there are parents who are getting up early on a Sunday morning to get them to practice. The event celebrates not just our sport, but the community around it. Our sponsorship has seen the event grow to include professional women hockey players, as well as girls’ hockey teams and players on the ice,” said Jeff Walker, President and CEO of CAA North & East Ontario.
The Sens Skills event returns in February 2026, combining family fun, community spirit, and intense on-ice competition featuring Senators players and local talent.
