Six Shot, One Killed in Trio of NYC Shootings Sunday Night
Six people were shot, and one man was killed during three separate violent shootings across New York City on Sunday night, authorities reported.
Bronx Triple Shooting
Just before 9 p.m., police responded to a 911 call inside a building on Brook Avenue between East 142nd and East 143rd Streets in Mott Haven. They found three males, including a teenager, with gunshot wounds.
- A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot in the back.
- A 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
All were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Queens Double Shooting
Earlier by about 20 minutes, police arrived at a home on 16th Road between 147th and 149th Streets in Whitestone after reports of multiple shootings.
- A 39-year-old man was shot in the left arm.
- A 49-year-old woman sustained gunshot wounds to her right arm and torso.
Both victims were hospitalized in stable condition. Authorities recovered a firearm at the scene, and detectives continue their investigation.
