Paul Rodgers Will Miss Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction for Health Reasons

Paul Rodgers, the original vocalist of the English rock supergroup Bad Company, announced he will not attend the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony due to health concerns. The band is being honored as part of this year's class.

Planned Performance and Health Prioritization

Rodgers had intended to perform alongside former drummer Simon Kirke at the event. However, he stated on Bad Company’s official Instagram:

“My hope was to be at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and to perform for the fans, but at this time I have to prioritize my health.”

He added:

“I have no problem singing, it’s the stress of everything else. Simon along with some outstanding musicians will be stepping in for me — guaranteed to rock.”

Health Background

While Rodgers' recent statement did not detail his current condition, he previously revealed to CBS News in 2023 that he had survived two major strokes in 2016 and 2019, as well as 11 minor strokes, which temporarily affected his ability to speak.
