Plot Overview
Set twenty years after the original, which focused on a group of heroin addicts in 1990s Edinburgh, the story follows Mark Renton (McGregor). He reunites with old friends Daniel "Spud" Murphy (Bremner), who is once again addicted to heroin, and Simon "Sick Boy" Williamson (Miller), who is involved in blackmail and struggling to keep a pub afloat.
