Special Weather Statement for Ottawa

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa anticipating accumulating snow on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Snowfall amounts between 5 and 15 cm are expected to begin Sunday morning and continue into the night.

Snowfall warnings may be issued. Motorists should prepare for challenging winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly as poor weather could cause transportation delays.

Students, faculty, and staff are advised to regularly check the Current Students weather page for the latest updates. The university remains open with all operations running on schedule.
