CoinMarketCap Updates Exchange Metrics
CoinMarketCap has introduced a new ranking system, which puts its new owner Binance first, after being acquired for a rumoured $400 million.
The new system ranks exchanges by web traffic, with
“Instead of asking exchanges to submit their user numbers, a good intermediate proxy will be web traffic”, as stated by CoinMarketCap.
- Binance now ranks first with a score of 1,000
- Followed by Coinbase Pro and BitMEX
