Charmasson Secures Bid to 2026 DP World Tour

After competing in 21 tournaments on the Hotel Planner Tour since February 2025, former Knight Clement Charmasson has qualified for the DP World Tour. This achievement is the result of months of consistent strong performances by the French golfer, who battled challenging courses across Europe.

Charmasson finished 19th on the tour rankings, earning one of the 20 available bids to the 2026 DP World Tour—the highest level of professional golf in Europe.

The Toulouse native began his rise after winning the Challenge De España in May, which lifted him to ninth place in the rankings. Three top-10 finishes since then kept him comfortably within the top 20, securing his spot on the European Tour.

At the Rolex Grand Final in Spain, Charmasson placed 21st, earning 38.3 points and solidifying his 19th overall ranking with 703.6 points.

Collegiate Career at UCF

Charmasson was a key player for UCF from 2018 to 2022, especially notable during his junior season when he was named to the American Athletic All-Conference Team after placing fifth at the tournament.

Upcoming Season

Charmasson will take a short break before competing at the BMW Australian PGA Championship later this month. This event is the first of up to 40 tournaments leading to the DP World Tour Play-Offs in Dubai.

UCF is a proud member of the Big 12 Conference.

Author's summary: Clement Charmasson's consistent performance on the Hotel Planner Tour earned him a spot in the 2026 DP World Tour, marking a significant step in his professional golf career.
