Comerica Bank Appoints Allysun Fleming to Lead Payments Unit
Comerica Bank has named Allysun Fleming as the new executive vice president of payments, consolidating all payments-related operations under her leadership. She will report directly to Executive Vice President Peter Sefzik.
“Our vision is to grow and optimize Comerica in ways that deepen the value we provide our commercial, wealth and retail customers,” said Sefzik on Monday (Aug).
Sefzik highlighted Fleming’s extensive leadership and expertise, noting the bank's ongoing investment in its payments division to enhance customer service and unlock future growth opportunities.
Commitment to Digital and Alternative Payments
Comerica continues to focus on expanding its digital payment capabilities and embracing alternative payment solutions to satisfy customer demands across all business sectors. The bank was an early adopter of Zelle and has integrated real-time payments into its Treasury Management services.
Efforts are also underway to simplify the onboarding process for treasury management customers.
Strategic Leadership and Future Focus
In her role overseeing payments and treasury management, Fleming will steer strategic initiatives and lead transformational changes to drive the division forward.
“We aim to improve how we serve our customers and create new avenues for growth,” added Sefzik.
