Aussie Olympic swimming legend Ariarne Titmus has shared significant updates about her personal life following her recent retirement from competitive swimming at age 25.
Titmus revealed she has moved to Melbourne to start a new chapter with her partner, Mac Powell, an investment analyst. They are now living together.
"It's just happened this week, new beginnings, a fresh start, a new chapter," Titmus said. "Mac and I are living together. It was hard to leave Queensland, but I do have family in Melbourne and a lot of friends here who have moved from Tasmania."
She expressed happiness with her decision to retire and is enjoying a more typical lifestyle.
"It took me a while to make the decision...and I've definitely made the right one," she told News Corp.
Titmus appreciates simple pleasures like cooking dinner at home and having a glass of wine with family and friends. She also appears relieved to be free from early morning training sessions.
