Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson has shared his thoughts on a slow beginning to the 2025-26 NHL season and his mindset one month into the campaign.
Throughout the summer, Pettersson promised to improve, citing that he was "out for revenge" after scoring only 45 points last season—his second-lowest total in his NHL career. Despite already having ten points this season, his overall play has not matched expectations.
The Swedish forward from Sundsvall has not been shooting the puck as frequently as earlier in his career, which raises some concerns about his offensive impact.
"I am focused on getting better and doing whatever it takes for my team to get the two points night in, night out."
Pettersson remains committed to improving his performance to help the Canucks succeed.
Elias Pettersson acknowledges a slow offensive start but stays determined to improve and contribute consistently for the Vancouver Canucks this season.
