The Hong Kong Sixes 2025 promises three days of high-energy cricket at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, from November 7 to 9. Twelve international teams will vie for glory in one of cricket’s most dynamic formats.
Returning for its 21st edition, the tournament maintains its signature six-a-side, six-over-per-innings format — a fast-paced mix of explosive batting, sharp fielding, and continuous excitement. The event follows its successful 2024 comeback after a seven-year hiatus.
Each match features two teams of six players, each batting for six overs (36 balls). Every fielder, except the wicketkeeper, bowls one over, with one allowed a second. Batters retire not out at 50 runs but may return if the rest of the side is dismissed. When five wickets fall, the final batter continues with a runner until the innings concludes after the sixth wicket.
"Following a successful 2024 revival after a seven-year break, the event continues its legacy as one of cricket’s most innovative and thrilling spectacles."
The matches will be held exclusively at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.
