Hayley Williams has unveiled “Showbiz,” a surprise addition to her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, which officially launched on vinyl today. This new track joins previously released surprise songs “Good Ol Days” and “Parachute,” expanding the original 17-song collection she shared during the summer through her label, Post Atlantic, with distribution by Secretly Distribution.
Co-written with producer and long-time collaborator Daniel James—who contributed to the entire album—“Showbiz” captures a vivid moment of romance in a club’s hazy atmosphere. Williams sings:
“I wanna do it again / I wanna dance in the strobe lights / I wanna choke on the smoke / And feel your eyes on me.”
She then reflects on whether the experience meant as much to the other person as it did to her.
The track’s visualizer showcases Nashville’s skyline paired with Williams’ distinctive scribble art, tying it visually to the album’s overall design.
To celebrate the physical release of Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, record stores worldwide hosted “Ego Nite.” The event featured album playbacks, exclusive merchandise, and physical LP sales, creating a shared experience for fans.
