The First 'Avengers: Doomsday' Trailer Release Date Revealed

Fans eager to watch the Avengers: Doomsday trailer will need to check out one of this year’s biggest cinematic releases. Marvel Studios has set up an extensive, year-long promotional campaign for the film, starting with the release of its first trailer tied to the biggest holiday blockbuster of the season.

Ever since the casting of Doctor Doom was officially revealed at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2024, anticipation for the next major chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has surged. The initial hint of the project came in March 2025, through the now-famous five-hour “chair video” that unveiled the full cast lineup.

Collider reports that the teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will be shown exclusively during screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19, 2025.

The outlet also notes that these plans could change, as Disney still has flexibility to adjust the schedule. If the report stands, audiences will see the trailer for nearly an entire year before the movie’s official premiere on December 18, 2026. While unusual, such an early trailer debut is not without precedent—in November 2014, Disney launched the first teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens a full 13 months before its release.
