The finale of The Celebrity Traitors saw Alan Carr crowned the winner, despite his nervous humor and animated personality. Yet, beyond the celebration, the lingering question was whether Alan and Paloma Faith—his real-life friend he playfully "murdered" on the show—had reconciled.
During the companion show Uncloaked, host Ed Gamble pushed Alan to address the tension with Paloma directly.
"Now with the nation watching, do you think it's time for an apology? I mean, Paloma's sat right there,"
Alan shifted in his seat but couldn’t resist a joke.
"I am so sorry. You know I am and I want to tell everyone that I'm the father of a child. We had a make-up hug, one thing led to another."
Paloma, currently expecting her fourth child, shared her feelings honestly as she reflected on the season’s end.
"Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, I feel that the reason Alan won—and the reason I was so sad—was because we all love him so much. And I love you so much, and I’m so happy that you won because it was bloody worth it then."
"But I think most people didn’t vote for you because they thought, how can we vote for someone that’s so lovable? It really concludes that you won it, you hurt me and I loved you, but... "
Alan wrapped up with another witty remark, saying only love could hurt that way.
Paloma Faith openly forgave Alan Carr after their playful on-screen rift, turning a moment of tension into heartfelt friendship on The Celebrity Traitors.
