Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has publicly spoken about her past relationship with actor Jeremy Renner, accusing him of threatening and sexually harassing her both on and off set.
Yi Zhou detailed her experience in social media posts and an interview with the Daily Mail, claiming Renner sent her explicit photos and videos, acted abusively during drunken episodes, and threatened to "call ICE" after their breakup.
“Renner first contacted me directly in June, sending personal and intimate photographs of himself, behaviour that, according to public reports, he has exhibited before,” Zhou wrote in an Instagram post.
“He convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship. I believed in him, in the power of love and in the possibility of redemption.”
Zhou also stated that Renner initially formed written agreements with her production company but subsequently refused to promote their projects and denied any personal or professional connection.
These claims raise serious concerns about Renner's conduct both professionally and personally.
