Young Bleed, a notable rapper from No Limit Records, passed away at the age of 51. The artist’s eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, announced his death via Instagram on Monday.
"Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed!” wrote Clifton. “Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u.”
Clifton shared a video and expressed that his father “gained his wings” on Saturday, November. He added that he was proud of his dad’s style of departure, including broken heart and fire emojis.
According to Clifton, there are false narratives surrounding Young Bleed's death, particularly about his age. He stated that his father did not have major health issues but experienced a blood pressure spike after a CashMoney vs. No Limit Verzuz concert at ComplexCon in Las Vegas in October.
“The incident was more of a natural thing that happened,” Clifton explained. “He collapsed and suffered a brain aneurysm from internal bleeding.”
Young Bleed was placed on a ventilator and spent a week in the ICU. Despite efforts to save him, he died from the brain aneurysm from internal bleeding.
Young Bleed's death was caused by a brain aneurysm following a blood pressure spike after a concert, underscoring the importance of health awareness even for those without prior issues.
