The PS Portal has received a major global update, enabling users to stream more than 2,800 games directly to the handheld device.
To use this feature, players need a PS Plus Premium subscription. Subscribers can stream titles straight from Sony’s servers without turning on their PS5 consoles.
Although personal game ownership outside of the PS Plus Premium catalog is required for some titles, the current support covers thousands of entries, making most gamers’ libraries widely accessible.
For users in the United States, a full list of streamable titles is available, including well-known franchises and indie hits. Even without owning a PS Portal, these same releases can also be streamed directly to the PS5.
“That’s a huge selection. I only own a few, but I can’t wait to replay Astro Bot and Dave the Diver on the handheld. Even Ghost of Yotei feels fresh in portable form,”
The update signals a major advancement in how PlayStation content can be experienced, transforming PS Portal from a simple accessory into a versatile gaming platform.
PS Portal’s massive update allows streaming over 2,800 PS5 games worldwide, redefining portable play for PS Plus Premium subscribers.
