Thousands of players have been unable to log into EA Sports FC 26 early Friday morning. The developers have issued a statement clarifying the situation.
Hours before the launch of a much-awaited new promo, UEFA Primetime, EA Sports FC 26 servers went offline. This disruption has blocked access to Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs, and other online modes.
According to Down Detector, reports of issues began around 6:17 AM GMT on Friday, November 7, and surged shortly after 9 AM GMT in the UK.
“EA servers are down today on FC26! That ruins the stream for this morning so going to do it in the afternoon instead!”
“I was just playing a Division 1 game and it's gone down on me. Frustrating.”
EA confirmed that the downtime is due to planned maintenance rather than a technical fault.
“We have a maintenance coming up. During this time, you will be disconnected or unable to access online services. Match creation will be disabled 30 minutes before maintenance. Titles impacted: EA Sports FC 26, EA Sports FC 25 and EA Sports FC 24 on all platforms.”
EA Sports FC 26 servers are temporarily offline for essential maintenance, affecting multiple versions of the game and various online features.
Author’s note: Scheduled maintenance has interrupted gameplay in EA Sports FC 26, highlighting the importance of server upkeep to ensure smooth future experiences.
