The 23rd annual Regent Park Film Festival will be held from November 27 to 30, offering four days of free movies, workshops, artist talks, and community events in Toronto.
This festival is the city’s longest-running free film event and focuses on much more than just screenings. After their popular "Movie Nights Under the Stars" during the summer, this is another chance to engage with the festival’s vibrant offerings.
“Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) is an award-winning, community based, charitable organization,” the organizers explain. “RPFF amplifies and centres marginalized communities and their stories. We believe everyone should be able to make and experience film and art, regardless of their financial status.”
The festival includes workshops and artist talks to deepen the connection between audiences and filmmakers, fostering a space for marginalized voices to be heard and celebrated.
Summary: Regent Park Film Festival, Toronto’s longest free festival, presents 43 thoughtful films and community events from Nov 27–30, highlighting stories from marginalized voices through inclusive art and dialogue.
