Patti Smith Performs on Colbert and Announces 50th Anniversary Tour
On Thursday night, Patti Smith appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she reflected on her landmark album Horses, spoke about her new memoir Bread of Angels, and reminisced about her early years.
Smith performed “Peaceable Kingdom” from her 2004 album Trampin’ with Tony Shanahan accompanying her on stage.
In 2022, Consequence ranked Horses as the 17th greatest album of all time. To mark the album’s 50th anniversary, Smith begins a North American tour starting November 10 in Seattle.
