In tribute to the service and sacrifice of Canada’s veterans and active military personnel, TransLink will offer free transit on Tuesday, November 11.
Eligible individuals may ride free by showing official identification, such as a badge, military ID, Veteran’s Service Card, or by wearing their uniform.
Veterans and other qualified riders do not need to tap their Compass Card for buses or HandyDART trips. Accessible gates at SkyTrain and SeaBus stations will remain open from 8 a.m. for easy entry.
TransLink will also mark National Indigenous Veterans Day on Saturday, November 8, honoring Indigenous veterans for their contributions to global peace and security.

The Royal Canadian Legion will collect poppy donations at key transit hubs across Metro Vancouver. Customers are invited to take public transit to and from local Remembrance Day ceremonies.
Regular holiday fares will apply to other passengers on Tuesday, November 11.
