Poppies and related merchandise to support veterans are available in stores, legions, and online, including through the Royal Canadian Legion's Amazon store. The Legion launched this online store for the second year, offering items such as lapel pins, magnets, and poppy flowers in honour of Remembrance Day on November 11.
“The Poppy Campaign is the legion’s most significant fundraising effort, with 100 per cent of proceeds going directly to support Canada’s veterans and their families.”
The campaign began on Friday and will continue until Remembrance Day. Albertans can purchase pins either from the Legion’s online poppy store or by making a donation at traditional poppy boxes located at various outlets across the province, including TD banks.
