Prince Harry denies claims he is trying to upstage William
Prince Harry has rejected claims that he deliberately sought to overshadow his brother, Prince William, by announcing a visit to Canada at the same time William arrived in Brazil for his Earthshot Prize tour.
A royal commentator described the timing as "predictable," yet the Duke of Sussex’s representative dismissed any suggestion of sibling rivalry behind the announcement.
"He is not afforded the same level of security and protection as other working members of the Royal Family," the spokesman explained.
According to Harry’s team, the tighter security arrangements mean the window for releasing event details is much shorter compared to that of King Charles or the Prince of Wales.
Meanwhile, Prince William landed in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the fifth anniversary of his environmental initiative, the Earthshot Prize. His visit began with an event at Sugarloaf Mountain, while Harry’s office in California confirmed his Canadian trip scheduled ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
