Fans Criticize Team Canada’s New Olympic Jerseys
Hockey Canada has revealed the designs for the jerseys that will represent Team Canada at the upcoming Olympics in Milan, and the reaction from fans has been far from positive. Though the team’s final Olympic roster has yet to be announced, the jerseys have already sparked serious debate online.
Many fans took to social media to express frustration over the continued use of black in the color scheme — a design element that first appeared during the Beijing Games. The newly teased uniforms seem to include broad black stripes on the arms and possibly a black maple leaf logo.
