Australian batter Tim David continues to shine in 2025, breaking records across formats with his explosive T20 form. During the third T20I against India on November 2, David reached the milestone of 1,000 T20I runs for Australia — the fastest to do so for his country.
This achievement came as he also brought up his fifty in the same innings, further cementing his place among modern T20 greats. So far in 2025, David has amassed 363 runs at an impressive average of 60.50 and a phenomenal strike rate of 201.66.
Earlier in the year, he registered his maiden T20I century — an unbeaten 102 off 37 balls against the West Indies. His tally of 35 sixes in the year is the highest ever recorded by an Australian batter in a single calendar year.
