Motorists in Leeds will experience disruptions due to roadworks affecting several key routes starting Monday, November 3.

A64 Flyover and Surrounding Routes

From 7pm to 6am on November 3, A64 Flyover, New York Road and Marsh Lane slip road will undergo roadworks. Service 7:

Potternewton Lane Closure

Potternewton Lane, Potternewton will be closed for roadworks between 9:30am and 3:30pm daily from November 3 to November 18. During this period, First Bus number 7 will divert using Scott Hall Road and Stainbeck Lane in both directions.

Cross Gates and Farsley Roadworks

Road closures and diversions remain active at Station Road bridge in Cross Gates as demolition and rebuilding efforts continue. The Farsley ring road will be closed from 8pm to 5am on November 3 and 4, between Dawsons Corner and Rodley roundabouts.

Wider traffic disruptions around Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass will persist until May 2026.

Morley and Other Service Changes

The closure of the Wide Lane slip road in Morley has been extended by 12 weeks, now until Sunday, November 30. During this time, bus services 65, 200, and 201 will follow diversion routes.

Reopened and Ending Closures

Station Road in Kippax has reopened after recent roadworks. Additionally, the closure of Branch Road in Lower Wortley is scheduled to end on Friday, November 7.
